Hire a
headhunter

On behalf of employers we approach the people who do not respond to your vacancy, across the Netherlands and with our centre of gravity in the Amsterdam region. What that costs is on this page, not only in a conversation.

A 30-minute conversation. No obligations, we first see whether it fits.

THE PROBLEM

Your vacancy is open, and the people who respond do not fit.

The vacancy is online. Responses come in, just not from the people you were looking for. The CVs that do arrive are not quite right, and every interview costs you half a day.

Meanwhile your team absorbs the work. Projects slip, the pressure builds, and every week the seat stays empty costs more than a salary.

The problem is not that there is no one. The people you want simply do not respond to anything.

A recruiter waits for the right
person to apply.

That works for the twenty percent who are actively looking. The role you have open calls for the other eighty.

The people you are looking for have a job, are doing well there and are not looking at vacancies. They do not respond to an ad, however good it is. And they are not in a file of who happens to be available either.

OUR APPROACH

We do not wait for someone to apply.

Whoever you are looking for, we simply call. We map your market and approach the people you want, even when they are not looking.

You do not reach those people with an ad or a file, only by approaching them with a reason to listen. That is what we do, per assignment, from scratch.

This is how we do it

  • First the market, then the people. Before we approach anyone we know who works in your segment, what it pays and who is on the move.
  • Approaching with a reason. Someone who is not looking only listens when the story holds up. We build that story together in the intake.
  • Interviewed by us before you see anyone. Whoever we put forward, we have interviewed and assessed at length.

And that is why we keep part of the risk of a bad hire with us.

HOW IT WORKS

From briefing to hire. No detours.

Five steps, no layers in between.

  1. Intake and briefing.

Which role, what someone has to come and do, where it went wrong before. After that we start within two working days.

  2. Map the market and approach.

Around the intake you see a first list of about ten profiles we have found. Your response steers the search, and then we approach.

  3. Screening.

We interview everyone ourselves. Only after that conversation do we call someone a candidate.

  4. Candidate by candidate.

Whoever fits, we introduce to you straight away. One at a time, not once there are three.

  5. Guidance through to the signature.

Until the contract is signed, without silences that cost you the candidate.

WHAT YOU GET

What you are buying when you say yes.

No hours and no subscription. One assignment, with this in it.

  • One recruiter, from intake to signature.

The same person for the whole assignment, and a Dutch-speaking contact who knows your briefing.

  • A dedicated sourcing team.

Out in the market full-time every day, with an outbound volume you do not reach with a single recruiter.

  • The report of every interview.

With every candidate you get our interview report, the motivation and the CV. No bare CV in your inbox.

  • The status every week.

Every week you hear where we stand and what the market says back. Even when that is bad news about the salary or the role.

WHY SENNASEARCH

Not an agency.
One recruiter who knows your market.

Most headhunters work out of large agencies, with an account manager between you and the search. Here you speak to the headhunter who does the work.

Twenty years, one specialism.

Sennasearch started in 2006 with a choice that has never changed since: better to really know one market than to be a little at home everywhere. Commercial roles are the core, with IT, finance and HR around them.

A response the same day.

Call us and we respond the same day. And we take a position, even when that means we are not the right choice for your question.

Only someone we would hire ourselves.

That is the bar for every candidate, and anyone who falls short you never see. And we stay involved, also after the signature.

Confidential when it has to be.

If you are replacing someone who does not know yet, the search goes to market anonymously. We only mention your name with your consent, and what is confidential is agreed up front.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

From two vacancies to four placements in four months.

As a growing company, finding the right people quickly is crucial. Sennasearch really understood our needs and helped us identify strong candidates who could hit the ground running.

WHAT YOU PAY

What a headhunter costs, and why you simply read it here.

"How much does a headhunter cost?" is the question this market asks most and dodges most. Here is the answer.

Where you land in the range depends on the role. We work that out in the first call, and it is fixed before we start.

Exclusivity is not a condition; we discuss that per situation. If the placement does not hold during the trial period, you choose: we keep searching at no cost, or you get your money back. Exactly what applies is in your quote, before you sign.

18 to 25% of gross annual salary, on a successful placement
  • A down payment at the start, with a lower success fee
  • Or no down payment, and no invoice until the signature
  • No down payment: if we find no one, there is no invoice
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

NO SMALL PRINT.
JUST CLEAR ANSWERS.

No, and that is deliberate. Whoever is in a file has been there for a while and has usually been approached already. Every assignment starts with the market as it is now, and that is where the person you want is.

Two things. Respond promptly to the candidates we put forward: the people we approach have a job and drop out when things go quiet. And keep us informed about your interviews and the offer you make, so we can guide things through to the signature.

Yes. Recruitment and selection is per vacancy, with no term and no notice period. If you have roles open continuously, RPO is the better fit.

you want to fill

No sales pitch. Straight to the substance.

  • 48 days on average from briefing to signed contract.
  • If the placement does not hold during the trial period, you choose: we keep searching at no cost, or your money back. The conditions are in your quote.
